*JS Apsley is the pen name of a Glasgow based author of unnerving Scots-noir.

Apsley's stories are laced with mystery, crime, fantasy and horror.

Apsley won the Ringwood Publishing Short Story 2024 Competition for his debut fiction submission, "Immersion".  This was published on 9 January 2025.  ​
